Each year, the IB releases five unique prompts for the TOK essay, requiring students to choose one and craft their response. In this post, we’ll share everything you need to know about when to expect the release of these TOK essay prompts.
When are TOK essay titles released?
For the May session, TOK essay titles are released on the 1st of September of DP2. Students sitting their exams in the November session can expect to receive the essay titles on the 1st of March.
Although the essay prompts are officially released on the first day of the month, don’t worry if you can’t find them right away. It often takes a couple of days for them to circulate and appear online.
