TOK exhibition criteria and checklist

TOK Exhibition Criteria and Checklist

You can receive a total of 10 points for the Theory of Knowledge exhibition, which is worth 1/3 of your TOK grade. Criterion A below is the only criterion that is used to evaluate the TOK exhibition.

Criterion A: Does the exhibition successfully show how TOK manifests in the world around us? - 10 points

For a maximum of points:

• The title must be chosen from the official list of TOK prompts. 

• The exhibition clearly identifies three objects, as presented in this TOK exhibition. 

• The real-life context of the analysed objects is provided. 

• The student thoroughly examines the objects, showing different viewpoints - see this exemplar for reference. 

• There is a strong justification for the particular contribution that each individual object makes to the exhibition. 

• Throughout the entire body, the essay maintains a strong focus on the exhibition prompt. Links to the prompt are clear and well-explained, as seen here.  

• The exhibition is critical and argumentative. 

• All presented claims are well-supported by appropriate evidence, the research is insightful and convincing - check out this work for inspiration. 

• The essay has a logical structure, facilitating reader comprehension. 

• The work fits within the word limit.
