Southern Arkansas University is a test-optional institution, allowing students to decide whether to submit standardized test scores for undergraduate admissions. Additionally, it permits self-reporting of scores, meaning applicants can provide their own reported test results during the application process. Currently, 7% of applicants choose to submit SAT scores, while a significant 100% submit ACT scores. This indicates that while all ACT submitters are counted, a small fraction opts to include SAT scores, reflecting a focus on the ACT for admissions.
