Northwestern University Testing Policy
Test Optional: Yes
Self-Reporting Allowed: Yes
Northwestern University is test optional, allowing applicants the choice of whether to submit standardized test scores. It also permits self-reporting of scores, meaning students can provide their own test results for consideration. Currently, 46% of applicants submit SAT scores, while 23% submit ACT scores. The combined submission percentages exceed 100% because some students choose to submit both types of scores.
