The University of Providence has seen a notable decline in its acceptance rates over recent years. In 2023, the overall acceptance rate dropped to 64.2% from an exceptionally high 95.5% in 2022, which itself followed a perfect 100% acceptance rate in 2021. This trend indicates increasing selectivity, having begun at 55.4% in 2019 and reaching as high as 65.7% in 2014 and 2020. The number of applicants has also fluctuated significantly, with 324 applicants in 2023 compared to a peak of 2,315 in 2015, showing a decrease in overall applicant volume alongside rising selectivity.
