Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering has demonstrated a trend of increasing competitiveness in its acceptance rates over recent years. For the application year 2023, the overall acceptance rate was 21.6% from 928 applicants, a slight increase from 19.1% in 2022 and 17.9% in 2021. In the application year 2020, the acceptance rate was even lower at 16.4% with 900 applicants. As such, the college seems to be attracting a growing number of applicants, which may contribute to the increasingly selective nature of admissions.
