The American Academy of Nutrition recorded a Regular Decision acceptance rate of 86% for the application year 2024, with 1,410 out of 1,647 applicants accepted. This marks an increase from 85% in 2023, when 1,695 of 1,984 applicants were admitted. Historically, acceptance rates have shown significant fluctuations, notably dropping to 74% in 2022 from 85% in 2023 and then surging back to 86% in 2024. The most considerable challenge was observed in 2021 with only a 2.7% acceptance rate when 73 of 2,675 applicants were accepted.
