The University of Illinois at Chicago is test optional, allowing applicants to choose whether or not to submit standardized test scores. Additionally, the college permits self-reporting of scores, which means candidates can provide their test results on their application without needing to submit official scores initially. Currently, 59% of applicants choose to submit SAT scores, and 59% submit ACT scores; the combined percentage exceeds 100% because some students submit both types of scores.
