
McNeese State University is test optional, allowing applicants to decide whether to submit standardized test scores. It also permits self-reporting of scores, meaning students can provide their own reported SAT or ACT scores in their applications. Currently, 12% of applicants choose to submit SAT scores, while a significant 89% opt to submit ACT scores. The high percentage could be due to some applicants submitting both types of scores.
