Chowan College is test optional and allows self reporting of test scores for undergraduate admissions. This means that applicants can decide whether or not to submit their SAT or ACT scores, and if they choose to do so, they can report their scores themselves rather than requiring official score reports. Currently, 100% of applicants submit SAT scores and 100% submit ACT scores, indicating that some students might be submitting both types of scores.
