Butler University is test optional and allows self reporting of scores. This means that applicants have the choice to decide whether or not to submit standardized test scores, and those who do submit can report their scores themselves without official verification. Currently, 35% of applicants choose to submit SAT scores, while 19% submit ACT scores. The combined percentage of 54% reflects that some students may submit both types of scores.
