UIC Domestic Students Acceptance Rate

The University of Illinois at Chicago reports a domestic acceptance rate of 56.3% for the application year 2024, with 10,787 out of 19,169 applicants receiving admission. This marks a slight decline from the previous year's rate of 57.9%, where 11,300 out of 19,500 applicants were accepted. Over the past five years, acceptance rates have generally decreased from 59.5% in 2020 to the current rate, reflecting a growing competitiveness in the applicant pool. The number of applications has also seen a downward trend, dropping from 21,000 in 2020 to 19,169 in 2024.
