Northeastern University International Students Acceptance Rate

Northeastern University has reported an international acceptance rate of 5.6% for the application year 2024, with 546 out of 9,837 applicants receiving admission. This marks a decline from the previous year's 6.8% acceptance rate when 618 applicants were accepted from a similar pool of 9,100. Historically, the acceptance rate has seen a significant drop from 18.0% in 2021, when 1,350 of 7,524 applicants were accepted, and a rate of 20.6% in 2020 with 1,326 out of 6,446 applicants admitted. This trend indicates an increasingly competitive landscape for international applicants at Northeastern.
