Berklee College of Music's wait list acceptance rate skyrocketed to 100% for the application year 2024, with all 51 offered spots being accepted. This follows a dramatic decline from the previous year (2023), where only 8.2% of the 241 wait listed applicants were accepted, totaling just 20 students. Additionally, for the application year 2022, the acceptance rate was 14.6% with 12 out of 82 applicants admitted. In contrast, the rate was significantly higher in 2020 at 76.9%, with 30 accepted from a smaller pool of 39 applicants. These figures reflect the substantial fluctuations in Berklee's wait list process over the years.
