Volunteering allowed me to be exposed to stressful, emergency situations and provide services to assist those in need while maintaining professionalism and compassion. In addition to responding to 911 calls, I attended two trainings weekly to hone my skills and become a better first responder, immersing myself in both medical and fire trainings.

Served as Student Council Treasurer in 7th, 9th and 11th grade. Served as President in 10th grade. Served as a Grade Representative in 12th grade. During my time served, I brought in more than $10,000 revenue for the Student Council that went towards supporting student travel, school spirit activities, and school dances.

I was responsible for various administrative and clerical duties, such as filing, updating digital modules, interacting with legislators to carry out their requests, and occasionally providing IT support. I was frequently responsible for performing the first reading of legislation to the House chamber, a vital step in the legislative process.

Participated in the Santa Fe Mayor's Youth Advisory Board, collaborating with other youth to plan events and celebrations for my city's youth and practicing collaboration and
teamwork. I also led the employment and career readiness subcommittee, culminating in a youth job fair aimed at educating teens on their options for future careers.

Represented students of my school to the Santa Fe Public Schools Board of Education. Took on various responsibilities, such as training middle and elementary school student
council members in leadership. Additionally, I brought to the board's attention a dormant policy regarding field trips to the legislature, which has since been re-enacted.

I performed various tasks to aid the firm's functions. While I did some traditional work, such as investment research, I was mainly trusted with software-related tasks, such as
search engine optimization, web design, and Customer Relationship Management software work. My work at FP led me to create an app to teach teens financial literacy.

In addition to ensuring a safe and fun camp environment, First-aid incidents as one of the most qualified people present. I practiced conflict resolution and demonstrated
professionalism in my interactions with adults. I led many outdoor activities, such as archery and bike riding. I worked here the summer before 9th grade too.

Practiced public speaking, leadership, and finding consensus among many program participants. Once I was elected as speaker, I was given a platform to further practice eﬃcient and compassionate leadership, ultimately succeeding in bringing all mock pieces of legislation introduced to a vote.

I volunteered as a canvasser, knocking on hundreds of doors to promote the candidate. I knocked on doors with fellow volunteers, with Pilar herself, and on my own to
interact with residents and answer their questions about the upcoming election. I encouraged people who were not planning on voting to do so, even if not for my desired candidate.

As a senior member of Natural Helpers, participating ever since 7th grade, I took on a leadership role of training newer members. Due to the great number of opportunities I
had to practice my skills over the years, I was very knowledgeable and a useful resource for newer members to learn how to best be eﬀective helpers.

Participated in Cross Country at the JV level in 9th grade. Practiced both physical and mental fortitude, as well as team-building and collaboration skills. Throughout the
season, I built endurance and practiced balancing schoolwork with attending trainings and running at meets.

As Co-President and Co-Founder for two consecutive years, I helped to create and lead my school's Model UN club as we participated in our first two conferences. I answered
questions and gave feedback to members on their writing. Under my leadership, the club more than doubled in size, to host more than 20 students in our most recent
conference.
