Elmira University is test optional, allowing applicants to choose whether or not to submit standardized test scores. It also permits self reporting of scores, meaning students can provide their own test results for consideration without submitting official scores. Currently, 4% of applicants choose to submit SAT scores and 2% submit ACT scores; the combined percentage of 6% reflects the option for some students to submit both types of scores.
