The student consistently and correctly uses correct mathematical notation, symbols, and terminology. Key terms and variables are defined and explained when first introduced, and the main concepts are appropriately described in the introduction. The student also provides explanations for all calculations and data presentations used. Additionally, appropriate forms of mathematical representation such as formulae, diagrams, tables, charts, graphs, and models are used. The deductive method is used where appropriate, and all graphs, tables, and diagrams are labeled at the bottom.
