
VanderCook College of Music is test-optional, meaning that applicants can choose whether or not to submit standardized test scores as part of their application. Additionally, the college allows self-reporting of scores, which lets applicants provide their test results without needing to submit official documents initially. Currently, 37.1% of applicants submit SAT scores, while 6.7% submit ACT scores; the total of 43.8% indicates that some students may choose to submit both types of scores.
