The University of Mississippi is test optional, meaning applicants are not required to submit standardized test scores for admission. It also allows self-reporting of scores, which means students can provide their test results informally during the application process. Currently, 19% of applicants choose to submit SAT scores, while 70% submit ACT scores; this total exceeds 100% because some students submit both types of scores.
