The University of Massachusetts is test optional and allows self reporting of scores for undergraduate admissions. This means that applicants are not required to submit standardized test scores for evaluation but may choose to do so, and if they do, they can report their own scores without waiting for official results. Currently, 100% of applicants submit SAT scores and 100% submit ACT scores, indicating that some students choose to submit both scores.
