The State University of New York at Buffalo is test optional, allowing students the choice to submit standardized test scores as part of their application. It also permits self-reporting of scores, meaning applicants can provide their SAT and ACT results without needing official score reports at the time of application. Currently, 60% of applicants submit SAT scores and 55% submit ACT scores, indicating that some students choose to submit both scores.
