Stanford University is test optional and allows self-reporting of standardized test scores. This means that applicants are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores to be considered for admission, but they can choose to share their scores if they believe it will enhance their application. Notably, 100% of applicants submit SAT scores, and 100% submit ACT scores, indicating that some students may be submitting both types of scores.
