Otis College of Art & Design is test-optional and allows self-reporting of scores. This means that applicants can choose whether or not to submit standardized test scores, and if they do, they can report their scores without needing to send official documentation upfront. Currently, 90% of applicants choose to submit SAT scores, while 80% submit ACT scores, which totals 170%. This indicates that some students are submitting both SAT and ACT scores.
