John Jay College of Criminal Justice is a test-optional institution, allowing applicants to decide whether to submit standardized test scores. It also permits self-reporting of scores, which means students can provide their own reported scores instead of having to submit official documents. Among applicants, 86% choose to submit SAT scores while 40% submit ACT scores; the combined total exceeds 100% because some students submit both test scores.
