For the application year 2024, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) recorded a domestic acceptance rate of 66.0%, with 6,669 out of 10,100 applicants being accepted. This is a slight increase from the 2023 acceptance rate of 65.6%, where 6,300 of 9,600 applicants were accepted. Over the past five years, the acceptance rate has shown a general upward trend, increasing from 58.7% in 2020 to the current rate, reflecting improved opportunities for applicants. Notably, the number of applicants has steadily risen from 7,800 in 2020 to 10,100 in 2024, indicating growing interest in NJIT.
