The Georgia Institute of Technology has experienced a downward trend in overall acceptance rates, dropping from 32.2% in 2015 to 14.1% for the Class of 2028 (2024 application year) with 59,789 total applicants and 8,413 accepted. The Regular Decision acceptance rate for 2024 remains at 14.1%. This reflects a significant decrease from 16.5% in the previous year (2023 application), where 5,377 applicants vied for acceptance. The shift indicates an increasingly competitive admissions landscape, especially highlighted by Regular Decision rates that have steadily declined from 33.8% in 2023 to just 14.1% in 2024.
