Eastern Oregon University has maintained a high overall acceptance rate of 98.7% for the application year 2023, with 1,446 applicants and 1,428 admissions. This follows a similar trend from 2022, where the acceptance rate was 98.5% with 1,015 applicants. Historical data shows a gradual increase in acceptance rates from 94.2% in 2020 to 97.6% in 2021; however, the rates have generally been above 97% since 2016. The consistently high acceptance rates indicate an increasingly inclusive admissions process at the university.
