College of Charleston Regular Decision Acceptance Rate

For the application year 2024, the College of Charleston reported a Regular Decision acceptance rate of 60%, with 19,016 out of 31,680 applicants being accepted. This marks a significant decline from the previous year’s acceptance rate of 72.02% for the application year 2023, where 19,212 were accepted from 26,683 applicants. Additionally, acceptance rates have been on a downward trajectory, decreasing from 75.71% in 2022 and 76.13% in 2021, indicating increasing competition among applicants over the past few years. The acceptance rate has nearly halved since 2017, when it was at 80.43%.
