The student clearly stated the aim of the investigation and described the theory/model upon which it is based. All psychology or topic-specific terminology used was correctly defined, including the Halo effect. However, there was no explicit link between the theory/model and the investigation, and the student seemed to have confused the effect-cause relationship regarding the described effect. The independent and dependent variables were both stated and implemented in the null/research hypotheses. The relevance of the topic covered was explained with a reference to the importance of looks in interviews and the understanding of the attention put by humans into looks.
